So what do I define as a hit? A sold-out camp. That’s right. My teens have learned about sensory writing, cause and effect, plot charts, adding conflict, and more. We had a fantastic time. Here are some testimonials that just came in.
I’ve received interest for the younger kids, too, and would love to add a session for elementary-aged students, but I need a few more to pull it off. Meanwhile, we are into week one of middle-school camp. These kids are talented. I was such a horrible writer at their ages. Seriously, I can prove it.
If you have either a young one (4th to 6th grade) or a high schooler (or almost one), send them to virtual camp soon–or sign them up for one-to-one tutoring for all ages–and I promise they will have fun and gain skills that will help them find success in school and in life.
And now I am thinking about adding classes for schools that go part or fully virtual in the fall. I can do my part in keeping kids engaged during this tough time. That’s the next project on the list…..stay tuned.
